Cambiar filtros y membrana en ósmosis inversa (Change filters and reverse osmosis membrane)

Change filters and osmosis membrane in a basic floor of 5 stages
Hello again, in today's post will talk about you maintained an "osmosis plant", essential for drinking water in correct conditions.

Throughout our professional experience selling plants and filters, we found many people who trying to save some money, bought the filters without advice and had two kinds of problems: the filters were not suitable or did not know how to install them. To avoid the first thing the team that you have and I will advise you on the appropriate model and the second thing you can contact us without obligation, we now show how to do it.
Entering matter we explain step by step how to change filters:

Change filters usually held once a year and membranes every two, which is the case that we are going to present, being able to perform more frequently depending on the quality of the water in the area.

FIRST STEP: HAVE THE NECESSARY MATERIAL

SECOND STEP: CLOSE SHUT-OFF VALVE INLET WATER TO THE PLANT AND THE TANK
As you can see in the images, so the water imput on the floor, when open the various vessels of the plant will not leave water.

And entry to the tank to prevent that water cannot enter during the filter change process.

THIRD STEP: OPEN THE DIFFERENT VESSELS WITH THE WIDE KEY
Opens one by one different vessels (large white shells) with the black key that usually goes with the equipment, we recommend putting a recipient below post that are filled with water.
The vessels are normally dirty inside, they can scrub with a scouring pad to remove any residues.

FOURTH STEP: PUT NEW FILTERS IN THE ORDER INDICATED
Opens one by one different vessels (large white shells) with the caution of a pan placed underneath that are filled with water.

FIFTH STEP: REMOVE THE MEMBRANE CAP AND WILL CHANGE
Perform the same process with membrane, in www.osmolightpieces.com you can see that we offer are 80 GPD, this is because they are those that produce better filtration, process is slightly slower but ensures higher quality and water, we also have 50 and 75 GPD that if you are interested you can ask him.
Unscrew the porta-membranas requires a slightly smaller key that in most cases do not provide it with the plant, but you can purchase it in our store for a very economic price and already you will have for future maintenance (articles RO044 and RO045 of our online shop: http://www.osmolightpieces.com/es/6-accesorios-osmosis)
A precaution that you must have is that so you can unscrew the CAP, you must remove the elbow as if you not retorceréis piping and that may damage it. It is as simple as unscrewing it as in the photo and remove pipe.

As you can see in the photo, it is dirty, it can be cleaned with a scouring pad. To remove the filter if you have trouble, you can help you with a pair of pliers.

Remember to put the new membrane in the same position that shows the image.

Once changed, turn to put the tube as it was and the comeback to screw.

SIXTH STEP: WILL REPLACE EVERYTHING IN ITS PLACE
Place each glass and membrane vessels in place, as it was at the beginning.

I attached a VIDEO with the implementation of the whole process that I have explained osmosis filters change:

As advice, it is always advisable to purchase a TDS meter (article RO041 online store: http://www.osmolightpieces.com/es/6-accesorios-osmosis) in order to compare the waste that there is in the normal tap with that obtained through the osmosis plant. If the plant is in perfect condition, need to delete approximately 80-90% of waste TDS.

Attached is a practical video of how to use a TDS meter

In successive post, we will explain how to change them according to the type of plants that you have (normal, compact, semi-compacta), regardless of this, whenever you need it can put you in touch with us via email: info@osmolightpieces.com or the telephones listed in our web store, to assist you with any questions that you have, have spent many years in this sector and above allWe want that we consider as your advisors and friends.
Best Regards.
